FEATURED PROJECT 1 - CANADIAN HOME DESIGNS

Addition and renovation located in Burlington, Ontario. This project was a complete interior and exterior transformation of a small 2 bedroom and 1 bathroom home into a spacious 3 bedroom and 2 1/2 bathroom storey and half with 2 car garage.

Numerous interior walls on the first floor were removed, transforming small rooms and narrow hallways into an open concept design. The result was a much larger kitchen with new island that is now open to the dining area and family room with views to the backyard.

The existing stairs were extremely narrow and were replaced with a larger stained wood staircase with wrought iron spindles.

The existing second floor consisted of 2 small bedrooms with no bathroom. Two large dormers were added to the rear of the home to create space for larger bedrooms and a new bathroom. The existing garage was extended forward creating space for a new master bedroom, his and hers walk in closets, and 4 piece ensuite above.
